Benchmade turned the 580-2 Barrage into a pocket knife with more mature dimensions. You have an excellent grip over the knife and with 142 grams it is not too heavy. The moment you want to open the knife you notice it is enhanced with a nice assisted opening. The spring will do most of the work for you. It works perfectly. Do, however, keep in mind the resilience that needs to be overcome as you close the blade. The blade is made from CPM S30V.
