The Cold Steel Kudu 20KK is a remarkable pocket knife, with strong South-African roots. The large key ring above the pivot stands out. It is a part of the so-called ‘ring lock’. By pulling the ring you unlock the lock. Might take some getting used to at first, but when you are used to it, it will be a piece of cake. We noticed that the following technique works best: Place your index finger on the ring, your thumb on the blade and use your middle finger and ring finger to lean against the spine of the handle. Pull your index finger and the knife will unlock.
