The Ontario Rat-3 Skinner 8661 is a solid survival knife and an alternative to the original Rat-3 model. This skinner-shaped blade is made from 1075 carbon steel. This is a strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen. The extremely sustainable powder coating on the blade protects it from the increased corrosion sensitivity of the carbon steel.
